Thursday, September 3, 2015 I’m starting to realize that Chief is working really hard around here. Abby is 10 years old now and she just can’t do as much as she used to. Which means the work load is falling on Chief. So I decided we might start looking for a helper for him. What I’d like is to find one of the abandoned shepherd’s dogs from the mountains who need a job and know how to guard livestock. (which is exactly how we came to have Chief here) Well I’ve been telling a few friends and hoping and praying that one might just show up. Well! My jaw dropped and my eyes popped when I pulled in our driveway yesterday and saw this!!!!!
