Sunday, July 26, 2015 Last April, we decided to add a few new hens to the flock to ensure that we’d keep a good supply of fresh eggs. They are finally integrated in with the old hens and all is well. Except of course we did get one rooster in the bunch. He’s got a pretty decent crow and he seems pleasant enough so far, so we’ll give him a chance. Our grandson named him Rufus. 🙂 Yes, he did wake me up this morning, but it’s all good. Happy Sunday!
