Thursday, July 23, 2015 Our evening thunderstorms always make me concerned about any of the newest babies wandering out of the barn and getting soaked, so I have been putting little coats them at night. Why all the fuss you might ask? Well, the first 5 days of that baby’s life are very critical. They can’t regulate their own temperature, they have to really pay attention to remember which one is their mom, and I won’t leave any of that to chance. What about the herds wandering in South America? Well, they lose a lot of their cria crop every year. 🙁 I’m fortunate that I can fuss over them and make sure they all survive.:)
