Friday, April 3, 2015 Once upon a time there was a dog named Bodhi. He was delivered to Blue Ranch last July feeling pretty sick and in the middle of chemotherapy for his lymphoma. We took him in because his family (our son and daughter-in-law and at the time, one grandson) was headed to Laos and he was not up for travel. We helped him through a few more rounds of chemo, and eventually had surgery to remove a large tumor. And then with lots of love and TLC we helped him be a healthy dog again. And the best part of this story is that his family is now coming from Laos to see the dog they thought they’d never see again… and they’ll be here tomorrow! Now that family also includes a six-month-old granddaughter who we’ll meet for the first time. And if that’s not a happy Friday I don’t know what is! 🙂
Photo of the day: Bodhi goes on walks with his grampa and the other house dogs. 🙂 Bodhi loves his big blue ball. He really loved the snow! And he’s going to be so happy to see his family again.
