Saturday, August 30, 2014 Today we’ll be delivering 4 alpacas to their new homes. ‘How can you sell them? Don’t you get attached?’ people ask me. Well it’s not easy, but I only sell them to homes where they will be loved and well cared for. I am always sad when they leave, but I sell them to people who care about them like I do. I offer continual support to all the owners so I can still be as involved as the new owners want me to. But if I didn’t sell any of them, I could never afford to care for the ones who will stay here. Yes it is a business, but it’s a business that has a heart. ♥
