We have witnessed hundreds of alpaca births, most go perfectly fine, and occasionally we’ve had a few that need help. This class is not a substitute for a neonatal clinic which will help you understand how to be prepared for the inevitable problem birth. We’ll leave that to the vets.  Please take a neonatal clinic if you have not already.  What we will cover in our birthing class is how to be prepared for most of the births that will be perfectly normal. We’ll share photos we’ve taken over the years and stories of what we’ve learned about alpacas giving birth.  Please RSVP to linda@bluemoonranch.net before April 11.  Cost is $50. per person.  The fee is waived if you have purchased your animals from Blue Moon Ranch.
