Dye Day!

Tuesday March 13, 2018  It was nice enough yesterday that I could dry yarn outside so I decided to make it a dye day. I had a new color called “bruised ego” that I wanted to try, and just like I hoped it looks like muted dusty purple. Fabulous color and you will be seeing more of it as I blend it with other colors. (like teal of course) We’re supposed to have more snow by Thursday so I’ll try to get a few more skeins dyed and dried before that.

As I sit in the barn I look at all the wonderful white fleeces we’re growing and it’s like a blank canvas for an artist.  Marcella, Gracie, Ava, Aspen Allegra and Angelica will give me enough soft white fleece that I’ll have plenty to play with and leave some natural white as well.  Happy Tuesday!

Photo of the day:  These two stud muffins have us covered in black or white.  Mojo and Stetson!  ❤ these boys.  Yes, I did use Stetson’s yarn to try some new dyes yesterday. Drying in 50 degree sunshine!
