Fuddlemuss!

Friday December 29, 2017  We’ve been having a bit of fun with a word I invented yesterday.  Fuddlemuss. The week between Christmas and New Years when you’re never sure what day it is.  ha! So are you going anywhere for Fuddlemuss?  Do you leave your tree up during Fuddlemuss? What movies have you watched for Fuddlemuss? I love it when it snows for Fuddlemuss.  And on and on. Some day if you see it on a dictionary, you can remember where it all started. 😉

But actually much more important than that silly word is the word you use to set an intention for the whole year. One word – and it can make a difference. It’s probably the most important thing you can do during Fuddlemuss!  Last year my word was “pause”. We took a break from breeding alpacas, and it was a good plan. I hit the pause button on a lot of things that were making me feel over baked. But this year, the pause is over and I plan to Celebrate!  That’s my word!  We’ll celebrate Ed turning 70 in January and new crias arriving next summer and a wedding celebration here in July. And because I’ll set it as my intention, I’ll be looking for reason to celebrate all year long.  A good plan I think.

Photo of the day: Fuddlemuss! My friend even made a graphic for it!  Thanks Betty.
