Tuesday October 10, 2017 We are doing halter training sessions in the barn this week. Two of our girls will be moving to a new home this weekend and I want to make sure they are comfortable walking into the trailer with me. Sometime in their first year of life we give all the alpacas here a halter training experience but in the course of an average year we rarely need to halter any of them. So when the need arrises, we pick up where we left off and by the end of the week, they’ll both do fine. (she says hopefully) 😉
