Friday August 18, 2017 I can definitely tell a difference in the size of the herd after our recent departures. There is just a little more elbow room in the barn, and the pastures are looking healthier already. Two more girls will be leaving next month and I think that will be all we’ll be saying good-bye to for a while. I miss every single animal who has gone to their new home and I am so glad that we will have more babies show up next year. Selling the alpacas has always been the hardest part emotionally for me, but I know I can’t keep them all. And we do find some pretty great new owners. Happy Friday!
