Friday August 4,2017 A sweet friend came by for a visit yesterday and brought me a plaque with these words on it: “It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them, and every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the componenets of my heart will be dog and I will become as generous and loving as they are.” This friend recently lost his dog about the same time we lost Matilda, so we had a good cry together. It’s so hard to lose those furry family members! But there are many dogs who need homes and I know the right one will soon show up for him just like Belle did for me. Happy Friday.
