Thursday, June 1, 2017 Just when I thought things were starting to settle down I found myself on the way to an emergency vet visit with my sweet Matilda. A 105° fever and no appetite is nothing I’ll mess around with, so off we went. Her blood work was normal, ultrasound showed nothing internally, so she is on antibiotics and lots of careful monitoring. With 4 dogs in the house and a big dog door for them to come and go as they please, it’s hard to monitor intake and output. But for today that’s what I’ll be doing. 🙂

So sorry to hear about Matilda. It’s always so hard to lose one of our precious animals. My heart breaks for you.
