Friday April 28, 2017 Every year I choose one word to be my word of the year. For me, it works much better than making resolutions each January and it puts out an intention or focus for the next 12 months. Most years I would never dream of sharing my word, but this year because it has to do with the business I will let you in on it. The word is “pause”. This year there will be no babies born at Blue Moon Ranch. <gasp> But it’s just a pause, we are not out of the breeding business, we are not retiring, we are just pausing, taking a break. The loss of our beloved General Patton last year made this pause feel right. Our new herdsire Romulus will be on his way to Utah any day now and I’m so excited for the babies that will be born here in 2018.
