Smells and sounds of spring

Tuesday, March 14, 2017  Our snow continues to melt as some parts of the country brace for the biggest storm of the year. We already had our share!  Today it wil be near 60° here and that will be just perfect for all the visitors we’ll be seeing today. As winter melts away, the “fragrances” of a farm can be profound, but the sounds of birds and water rushing in the creek are part of the magic too.  The redwing blackbirds are singing their hearts out and I’m so glad I live here. 🙂 Happy Tuesday!

Photo of the day: I fretted about our old gal Abby in the cold this winter, and look who is choosing to nap on the shrinking snow piles.  Yes, that’s Abby.
