Winter preparations

Sunday, September 11, 2016  Even though it will be warmer today, we’re prepping for winter here. Ed is busy stacking firewood  all around the house under the porch and I’m getting anxious for the first fire of the season. The 2 year old compost pile has been turned and is ready for spreading on the pastures at the first hint of snow. That won’t be for a while, but nice to know the compost is ready. I hope to get more yarn spun between bottle feedings today. Happy Sunday!
