Monday, August 29, 2016 Well, I don’t know what it was, but something tried to get near the barn last night and Chief wouldn’t allow it. I woke up to lots of barking at 3:00 a.m. and could see Chief at work removing an uninvited visitor. The “sister wives” Abby and Charlotte were right behind him for backup if needed, but Chief is in charge of nighttime intruders. That dog is worth his weight in gold! And he weighs a lot! lol I’ve had fiber waiting to be spun all week and today I promised myself it will be done. A good chore to start a Monday. Hope yours is a happy one!
Photo of the day: Flavia agreed to let me take her picture last night with her cute little floppy ear and all. It’s been in the 40’s overnight so I’ll put a coat on her for a few more evenings.
