Wednesday, March 23, 2016 Here’s a little update on Charlotte. She passed a test with the chickens! (This is after failing a test with the chickens last fall when she arrived). The hens have been fine in their coop all winter but now with nicer weather it seems fair to let them out. The hens ran and flapped their wings and she was content to just watch them. 3 new inches of snow have the hens happily back in their coop for today but I have great hopes that they will be safely eating bugs in the pastures soon.
