Monday, March 21, 2016 You know I always prefer to share happy and positive news, but I also like to be real. So I must share that we lost our dear old Luna yesterday. She was one the the sweetest, cutest little alpacas I have ever know, and I’ve known lots. Our 5 year old grandson got a taste of real farm life too as he watched her pass. He stood by her along with me as we told her it was OK to go. He asked ” Will her body go to heaven now?” “No, just her spirit I told him. She doesn’t need her body any more.” RIP dear Luna, we will miss you.
Photo of the day: The herd stood in the spot where Luna had died after we removed her body. I think it no small coincidence that the moon ( la Luna) shone brightly overhead.
