Thursday, February 25, 2016 Our little flock of hens has been spending the winter inside the coop where they are safe from extreme weather and predators. But now that I’m seeing little patches of grass poke through I’d really like to let them out. My concern: Charlotte. When she arrived last October she did try to chase them, and I do believe would have killed one if we hadn’t been there to stop her. So it will take a bit of work on my part to train her that they are part of our family. But she wants so badly to please me I think it will work out. Happy Thursday!
