Wednesday, December 2, 2015 Funny, a few weeks ago we thought 12° was cold, this morning we’re quite glad it’s above zero, and that we might even get above freezing today! I’ve been feeding the girls a bale of hay out on the snow for a couple of reasons. #1 it gets them all into the sunshine (Vitamin D) and #2 the leftover hay that drops to the ground becomes a nice place for them to take a nap outside the barn that does not involve lying on ice or snow. I’m always amazed at how well the guardian dogs do in this weather. When I watch Charlotte and Chief wrestling on the snow they remind me of polar bears! They do however eat much more than the inside dogs. Happy Wednesday!
