Friday, July 24, 2015 If you live in Utah like we do, you know that today is a holiday. But for the rest of the world it’s just another Friday in July and you might wonder what the fuss is all about. Today commemorates the entry of Brigham Young and the first group of Mormon pioneers into the Salt Lake Valley on July 24, 1847. Since Pioneer day sounds a bit like Pie and Beer day, I’ll let you guess which one we will be celebrating. 😉 Have a good Friday however you spend it!
