Thursday, March 26, 2015 The alpacas will be looking for shade today, as the temperature climbs up towards 60°. If you can imagine wearing 4 to 6 inches of alpaca fleece on your back and standing in the sun, you’ll understand. As it gets warmer, we’ll let the girls cool off in the creek, but for now the shade of the barn works just fine. The boys have access to the water in the creek all year, and I’ve noticed a few of them going in to cool off already. Happy Thursday!
