Patiently waiting

Thursday, June 12, 2014  No babies yet, so I will have time to concentrate on more fleeces today. I’m hearing about other alpaca farms who have been waiting more than 365 days for crias to arrive this spring.  We plan on 345 days, but we know the variations on that number can be huge.  So we wait…. and take pictures of birds. 🙂

Photo of the day: Back to a bird photo as we wait for the first cria to take all my photo attention. This is the male tree swallow who sits on an old lantern our deck every day. The female is on their eggs.swallow612
