Friday May 9, 2014 More snow is likely today, so I guess my pasture vacuuming will have to wait. It’s pretty wet out there but also turning such a nice green. Hay consumption now is about half of what it is during the winter months, and will shrink even more when I open up some other pastures. Happy Friday!
Photo of the day: I had just stepped outside for my last check on the herd, and I think I heard Chief say, “go to bed, mom, I got this.” Love that boy. Hard to believe he came from the county shelter!
